This custom built 2:1 main halyard is designed to lock off at the same point every time you hoist the sail. No Stretch, No wearing, No more replacing halyards, designed to last! The 2:1 design and low stretch dyneema also removes the tension through your mast and keeps the load at the tip. Allowing the mast to work more efficiently maximizing performance. 

The halyard is built from a spliced Sk78 dyneema, a eye splice for the toothed hook and chafe guard protection for the mast exit block and sail . There is a spliced lightweight halyard tail to enable you to lower and hoist.

Suitable for approx 6700 - 6900 mast lengths.

Installation Instructions

1.Mount the tooth rack to the base of the mast below the halyard exit block.

2.Feed the halyard through the mast and attach the eye slice to the tooth rack. Best to the place the eye on the lowest tooth. You can always shorten the length at the tip. 

3.Continued to attach any fittings required for attachment of the head of the sail

4. Attach this fittings with tape to the tip of the mast in the position they would most likely sit, eg. at the top of the black band. 

5. Feed the end of the halyard through the final fixing point on the tip of the mast and tie a stopper knot.

6. Ensure not to cut the tail and leave plenty of slack. You may need to make adjustments the position of the knot after a few sails. You will not be able to adjust the eye splice at the other end. The rope can shrink.
